The skies will see something new in July.
It’s not a new bird species. It’s not Spiderman or Superman nor is it a meteor shower, lunar or solar eclipse and yet it will be a sight to behold. Look! Here comes Sky Solaire! Yes, Air Asia’s popular Airbus A320 will soar the skies in July but this time in harmony with the Philippines’ premier integrated resort, Solaire Resort and Casino.
This partnership, which is definitely a milestone between Solaire Resort and Casino and AirAsia, will facilitate more passenger and cargo traffic in both regional and domestic flights, and foster stronger trade, cultural and tourism ties within Asia. Donato Almeda, Board Director of Solaire Resort and Casino notes: “This milestone is a key undertaking between two passionate brands with entrepreneurial and dynamic mindsets.”
This partnership in the skies (and of course, in the grounds as well) will soar until 2016 and perhaps even beyond. It is also in-line with Solaire’s “Create Your Moments” campaign, which highlights Solaire as the prime place to create lasting memories.
As of this time, one airplane is wrapped up in the warm colors of Solaire but the future is certainly bright for additional aircrafts to be donned with the same livery. AirAsia Philippines Chairman Maan Hontiveros has more to say about the livery and their partnership with Solaire: “This new livery demonstrates our creative approach to partnerships and marketing opportunities especially with companies that support our vision to grow tourism. We are thrilled to carry Solaire’s brand in the sky and on the grounds at the airports here and abroad extending to as far as our destinations in Malaysia, China and Korea.”
While many have experienced world-renowned Philippine hospitality, top-of-class luxurious accommodations, diverse dining options and impressive gaming facilities at Solaire Resort and Casino, this collaboration with AirAsia means taking it all to a new level, to greater heights. “This aircraft-branding campaign is a strategic branding initiative which would allow us to literally take our brand to greater heights,” says Jasper Evangelista, Vice President of Brand & Marketing, Solaire Resort and Casino.
For someone like me who not only loves to travel but also values partnerships and innovation, you will surely see me smile as this collaboration between Solaire Resort and Casino and AirAsia take off this July. Solaire Resort and Casino is definitely ready for the skies.
