Nature always fascinates me. There is something refreshing as I see wide skies, green trees and fields.
Last January, torrential rains came with the storm here in our city (Butuan, Philippines) and it was quite sad that streets were flooded; so many homes were in fact affected. But as usual, Filipinos are the sturdy and yet pliant people that they are. Everyone has done their part to move on, rebuild or even start over.
A couple of days after the storm, I took these photos of the rice field which was just behind our subdivision. Although we could see that too much rain was yet in the fields, I think you would agree that the sky is still as beautiful as ever.
Thank God that there is still beauty after destruction, that there is always a new day even after a storm.
