What Do You Play?

I think that one of the most relaxing things to do is to play your favorite musical instrument. There is something about music that de-stresses. And of course, there is a sense of fulfillment when you can play an instrument even if you do so by yourself, without any audience.

Although the piano is tops among my favorite instruments, I can not really play it. I can play a little bit on guitar and some basic drums. I must admit though that I have to like a song a lot for me to pick up the guitar and play it. If you ask me if I have ever played in public, I would have to say yes πŸ™‚ Β Once and yes just for one song, I played the drums before an audience. As to the guitar, come to think of it, I have done so for more than a couple of times. But I only play when extremely needed πŸ™‚

Is the guitar your instrument of choice like this musician?

I like the “extremely needed” because I am so like that!! πŸ™‚ I know how to play the guitar a little bit, and I am not that confident– I only play when there’s no one who could play but me, which rarely happens by the way. hahaa.

Unfortunately, there is no instrument that I am good at at all. I wish I can play the piano and violin, but I wasn’t given the chance to have access to those when I was growing up. That’s why I’ll make sure that my daughter will do the learning for me! Lol. My husband plays the guitar though and I can sing endlessly with or without an instrument. πŸ˜€
