Fifty years. Yes, it has been 50 years since this beautiful song and yes, the movie of the same title captured the hearts of the world who heard, watched it. I first watched the movie and heard the song in the late ’70s. Today, the song still has the same effect on me: it inspires, lifts me somehow from the common, everyday world 🙂
